I N T R O D U C T I O N
"Nacht und Nebel" ( German for "Night and Mist" ) was a directive of Adolf Hitler that was originally intended to winnow out all political activists and resistance 'helpers', anyone endangering German security.
For Damien, a French resistant, the night represents where he is, in the dark, between decaying and dirty walls, with a thick mist engulfing his troubled mind.
Berlin, 1945. Stalin's Red Army is taking control over Berlin and turned west Germany into a vast field of ruins. Damien, a spy, has been captured by the enemy and transfered into a bunker, buried deep below Berlin. He wakes up into a squalid operating room with its door open. Hoping, he decides to make his way through the barely lit corridors of the Bunker.
But before to be able to see daylight again, he will have no other choice to learn some of the Nazis' darkest secrets and fight the abominations lurking in the shadows of the Bunker's cramped corridors...

It appears that some players encounter several visual glitches in the game, download this patch should fix the problem.
The patch must be downloaded and installed in order to play in the most optimal conditions.
Just put the "imageblock.bin" file into "NachtUndNebel-Full\Files" and the textures should be properly displayed.

Hi, so for a review of the full game, I must admit that I have been really amazed for a fps creator game.
Most of the times the games from this engine are really bad, but here I see that some hard work has been put in it.
The design and the textures of the levels, especially the bunker type level, like the shadows, details in rooms, decorations etc looks really neat.
I have encoutered some bugs and crash, but thanks to the save feature I didn't have to do all over again. But I think that you should maybe start to look for another engine for your games (look at Unity and UDK, they have a free version), because most of the bugs are typical bugs that I have meet in fps creator games, and the facts of ennemies popping right in front of me sometimes even in mid-air, or hitting trough walls kinda ruins the thing for me.
For the gameplay, I think the medpack thing is good, even if there is maybe too much of these things, especially if you have a save feature with it. The weapons do all have a use, but the fact that the game is very short didn't let me really appreciate the rifle. There is just a thing that I didn't like : the keys, there is too much of them, and some of them are pretty nasty to find, the idea is good, but a little overused.
The atmoshpere is great too, maybe some monsters like the "long arm" one and the big one seem a little out of place, but the ambiance sounds put me right in the game.
For a conclusion, I can say that I have been surprised from the good side, if you keep on like this, you could really become a good developper ^^ .
YT LP'er here, I was excited to record it but the bugs made it unplayable sorry. The Blur after death and many other bugs made it hard to enjoy.
Don't let it discourage you though, the game has potential, keep working hard.
I think i never enjoyed a horror game the way I enjoyed this one!
Probably because I could kill all those scary monsters:3 It gave me the "strength" to explore more...
For me motion blur was alright, it made the experience a bit more realistic but it should be fixed somehow to disappear after we respawn...
The only real annoyance for me was the no save issue...I'm not saying that we should be able to save,that would ruin the uncertainty... but at least there should be some checkpoints.
Otherwise the game is absolutely good and quite engaging!
Here's my experience of the game:
I tried out the demo! It's not dark but it does has some scares, enough to make me panic! xD I like that there are weapons too :D The only thing that worries me is the blur. When I got hurt by the dead my screen stayed blurry even after using the meds and after dying as well. Aside that, it was pretty neat playing a horror game that lets you kill the enemies :D
