Me, junkboy, and Lydia have been working really hard the past week and I'm happy to tell you that the registration site is pretty much done. Right now we're waiting on the hotel registration site from Disney. We need to release everything at the same time so each person who is coming to MineCon will know they have everything they need. We thought the extra time would be enough but it turns out that it wasn't.
If you head over to the MineCon site right now, you'll see a countdown set for 10h—and that's right, it isn't counting. When everything is more in an ordered fashion I'll start the clock, so you at least have some way of being able to prepare.

Update: Minecraft 1.4 is officially called the "Pretty Scary Update" by Mojang at PAX. will include a summon-able boss, The Wither.
Ooooh that sounds awesome, I want it now but how would you summon the wither?
I bet it'll be released in october :P or should i say "Halloween"
Jeb has said 1.4 will come some time in October so my guess would be halloween :)
Ah, it's being held in Paris; England. Quite nice. Could it be in Australia next? I've always wanted to go to Vienna!
