Quick description:
"UniverseV: Star Domination" is a turn based 2d strategic game for 1-4 players (Hot-Seat or Human vs AI). Each player starts with homeworld starbase and one simple starship. The goal of the game is to occupy all planets directly connected to enemies homeworlds and hold them by one round. During each round player can buy new starship, upgrade existing one or buy a GameCard by spending fleet points. GameCards gives the player random bonuses during gameplay. All players gain fixed number of fleet points during every round. Player can increase number of feet points by conquering neutral starbases randomly placed on star map.
Races:
In "UniverseV: Star Domination" are five different races (each with their own sepcial abilities and starships) + two special ancient races. On the begining the player have only one race (Humans). Player can unlock the next race by defeating it. When the player defeat all five standard races then he will be able to fight with special races. When he defeat all seven races then he will be able to play boss-starships.
Ships:
Each normal race have 5 different starships and 6 different modules. Two special races have 3 different starships with 3 different modules.
Ships can be merged to fleets. Each fleet may have maximum 5 starships. When 2 hostile fleets will meet players will be moved to batttle arena mode.
Bosses:
During gameplay boss-starships will be randomly placed on galaxy map. The fight against them is not obligatory but when the player beat the boss as a reward receive Epic GameCard. Epic GameCard gives huge random bonus during gameplay.
Battle Arena:
This is starships battle mode. This battle is also turn based and splitted for two phases (long range attack phase and short range attack phase). During short range attack phase only starships that have long range weapons can fire. During short range attack phase all starships are able to figt. The queue of movements is determined by initiative of each starship. During battle player can intercept or attack enemy ships or play a GameCard.
