Basic Mapping/Technical.
[page=Introduction]
This tutorial is actually a map Article. It includes the Standard Measurements of a CS Map (cs_mansion which is pretty much older than CS).
[page=The Measurements]
The Measurements are here:

Walls:
A wall is 128 Units high, and 64 Units wide.
Doorways:
A doorway is 96 Units high, 64 Units wide, and the door itself is 8 Units wide.
Windows:
A Windows is 64x64 Units. A Window glass is usually around 8 Units - like the door.
[page=Conclusion]
Yes. I think that covers that pretty easily.
Mark my words, it is not at all necessary to use these measurements but they are recommended as long as you map for CS/HL (And soooo many other mods, depends how the Cars/humans/Creatures are coded). I am a mapper on The Inquisition Mod, and i am currently making a map where doors are just about 96 Units wide, and 512 Units tall. It's a Huge map :D
