Day one was shipped with certain hardware (via OEM partnership), can't remember with which manufacturers though.

i havnt really noticed much of a difference other than some mapping changes in the intro and the workers are wearing green instead of yellow.

It's the real demo, so you won't need anything besides a computer with windows 95 or higher (Any computer made after 1998 will do fine)
