This version of the mod has extra fixes and is intended to be added onto the normal v5 installation of the mod.
V5.1 changelog (I have included a more detailed text file in the folder of the install):
Map specific:
- c2a1 - made the electro_hurt damage triggers turn on at the same time as in hl1
- c2a1 - made the gargantua damage trigger not damage cockroaches
- c2a4b - fixed garbage_lid_1 not breaking by breaking any of the sides
- c2a5x - lowered the crabpop_crab monstermakers so that they wouldn't be seen spawning
- c3a2d - fixed one of the steam func_rot_buttons working incorrectly
- c3a2d - fixed NPCs being able to open the petals by touching them
- c4a1b - fixed a few func_trains being solid when they shouldn't have been
- c4a1b - optimized the map and fixed a rendering issue
- c5a1 - fixed a few func_trains being solid when they shouldn't have been
More general:
- changed the monstercount in some monstermakers to be consistent with how many will actually spawn
- made a few monstermakers spawn more similarly to hl1 (how they are triggered, disabled, etc.)
- fixed a few monstermakers having default values instead of the hl1 ones (delay, MaxLiveChildren)
- removed a few unused monstermakers
- fixed some other minor things
How to install:
- Step 1: Install the normal v5 release of this mod. (Found here: Moddb.com)
- Step 2: Install this and move the 'hl1' folder from the pack into your root game folder and replace all
- Done
What version of the game did you base this version on?
I have version 2153 which is the Collectors edition version and I can't seem to run this mod. So I'm assuming the mod is built ontop of the later version.
You should put that version number somewhere so people know. thanks!
2153 is too premature for an engine. As far as I know
Hello, I would like to report some bugs that I know from Half-life Source legacy
AKA Pre-steampipe
-
1.Selecting the Chapter Lambda Core from the Chapter selection menu, Loads you one map ahead as it where it is supposed to.
2.In the Chapter On a Rail (First Map), There is these wooden beams on the side of the rail track, Which supposed to have an armor battery on it, But for whatever reason the battery always falls through the wood whenever the map initially loads, and always end up on the concrete slab below it.
3. Whenever you equip the satchel, There is a long delay before you can throw it.
is this compatible with the retail version on Steam at all or only for the old version?
