Pick up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa. And a lot of people, people he cares about, are counting on him.
This is a new alternative to GUIStudioMDL & StudioCompiler. Despite the close relations my new model compiler has many advantages. One of the best is live edit. This will save you a lot of time! For more info, click read more!
Version: 1.0.0 Beta Stable
-Glossary: Provides realtime info for all QC commands
-Live Edit: You will write QC files in a local editor in the program, no need to do extra saving and opening of files... When you are happy with your QC, compile it then you can also export it to the desktop if you want to save it.
-Stored Locations: Your choosen gameinfo folder and studiomdl.exe location will be stored! So whenever you're in a rush the only thing you need to do is to paste your qc script into the editor and hit compile!
-Smart Compile Log, unlike the other compilers they were all using studiomdl's output log for errors. This program does that too but it also features a built in checker, this checker will go through your QC file before transmitting it to studiomdl.exe! And highlight the text and give you concrete errors! It also shows warnings, my program will always try to keep you updated and make sure your QC is fine and dandy.
- Templates, in this editor you can select pre-made templates if you're not certain of what or where you should start. Templates included: A fully customized friendly NPC with flex anims, a custom enemy npc with proper blending and locking, a working vehicle script with proper pose parameters, basic weapon and prop sample scripts and extra blending walkthrough templates.
-The templates have extra comments to explain in detail what it all means, so make sure to edit those parts before compiling.
-Since the editing happens locally you must specify the "cd" ( .smd file directory / working directory ) or else the script will not find any smd's to compile!
-If you open the program without steam then you have to re-open it once steam process is up running.
Peace and enjoy, I hope this program will make your lives a little easier, and last but not least... Teach you more about the QC build up!
