Deathmatch Radioactive addon - Half-Life 2

This is the map with very uncommon [im my view] atmosphere. I was building dm_Radioactive for a bit less than one year and from November 2008 to February 2009 I was testing it. The poisonous air of Chernobyl swamps has the dark-green colour and the water there is very cold. It's dangerous to go too far from the northen part of the swamp, where the rebels are hiding, because radiation made the water deadly for any alive human. The rebels found the ruins of old buildings and use them as the shelter, and even electricity works somewhere. The Combine forces found the places where the rebels were living and drop the elite squads to eliminate them.

Practically all the lamps can be turned on and it's possible to walk on the buildings' roofs. The water is very useful because players can crouch and hide under it. The radioactive Chernobyl night under the full moon helps you to hide and attack your enemy from above and behind. But be careful - the radiation won't give you way to the farther lands. If you are outdoors, try to walk on the wooden bridges - it's better to find way to the buildings on this map. The watertower will be the main landmark and it is near the map center, so the players who play there at first will easily find the way to the battlefield with help of wooden bridges and the watertowers.
