A far cry 2 map that was originally intended to be a map for the Pacific Theatre expansion of the D-Day Invasion map pack for far cry 2.
This map WAS going to be release in a large pacific theatre map pack, however the D-Day Invasion server for Far cry 2 went down, and it seemed that I could not and still cannot host a D-Day invasion server without enabled DMZ on my modem/router (which I don't want to do), so I figure I may aswell just release the map to the public and let them play with it.
The map is designed much like the first map in the far cry 2 D-Day Invasion map pack, like the beach landing, however, it is on a smaller beach.
It is not designed for balance, it is designed so that one end of the scales are heavy, and one team (attackers) are at a disadvantage to begin with, while the other team defending are at a good advantage.
However in saying that, once attackers gain a foothold on the beach, and begin pouring into the trenches, the attackers have the scales tipped in their favour and it's difficult for defenders to keep attackers out.
The map is inspired by the first level of Medal of Honor - Pacific Assault made by EA games, which was a very good game and underrated game considering it was made by EA.
