Faceless is a Greenlit Multiplayer Horror on the Unreal Engine 4 which sees players attempting to survive alone, or with up to three friends in Wakeland City to try and find Daniel North. Having followed his documents, the players must find Dolls in each location and deliver them to the Ritual Zones to set the trapped souls within free, thus completing Daniel's quest, and bringing the survivors one step closer to learning his whereabouts. Upon burning all the Dolls, The Soulrender will be forced to depart from the immediate area... But not until after it has tried to feed on your souls.

The model looks really nice, and the mapping looks great too.

You mean a square room with HL2 textures and low-poly slenderman with messed up UVs?

And just where are those messed up UVs? Please point them out. Liberate us all.

This doesn't look like Slender Man. This looks like an alien in a suit. This reminds me of Men in Black, and for all the wrong reasons.

Ways to improve the model:
1. Get rid of the arched back. Make him stand straight, like he is confident and towering over all. He can look imposing and terrifying without looking like the Scooby-Doo creeper.
2. Get rid of the sunken cheekbones, because they give him the same vibe as the Roswell alien. A much rounder head would convey the total blankness of Slender Man.
3. The long skinny fingers also convey the Roswell alien vibe, but I'm not sure what to suggest here. Something needs to be done, though. Perhaps bring the arms closer together to the body, such as to hide the hands/fingers. Or use shaders to make the hands blurry, ie reduce detail and increase player certainty about the hands in general...

It's their game, they can interpret slender any way they want. Steven Spielberg didn't change his raptors in "Jurassic Park" just because they were incorrect to paleontologists.

Why? The Slenderman model doesn't really scare me as well, it looks a bit 'too cartoonish'.
Everything he said pretty much is true...

Slenderman is not some big folk lore that we've made it out to be, just because something looks bad doesn't mean it's acceptable if you say 'oh, I'm just putting my own spin on it.' Doesn't make up for awful models and maps.

I think the game will still be fun. Im not really a graphics person and I dont see why Slenderman looks horrible, the games still in development. He looks better in my opinion.

Their mod or not, people can still give suggestions, I think that constructive criticism is the best thing a commentor could provide and zonbie gave it :l

Wow, I'm really excited for this game, but stop being such blind fanboys. zombie gave valid, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and you should embrace it if you agree, instead of playing the developer's little lap boy. Jesus Christ.

I think the one thing I agree with the most is that Slendy should stand up straight. Makes him way more imposing and ominous and... I guess more "serious" and less cartoon-y.

I like this rendition more personally, its creepy as hell(especially the skinny hands and fingers), and has more of the horror vibe that the creators are going for

HES ******* SKINNY. Of course he'll look like this.

Plus, not like Slenderman was human in the first place.

It doesn't need to look like the stereotypical Slenderman of being literally just some business guy with no face. They can change it up and make him look more intimidating.

Its crazy to see Slender Fanboys defending the bad model from people who actually know what they are doing and are giving constructive critism.
