Yes, it's the same mod: Moddb.com
The link from above is only compatible for Doom 3 vanilla, but you will need the patch 1.3.1 to run this mod ( Moddb.com ).
Doom 3 vanilla installation has their drawbacks though.
With dhewm3 is easier to install the mod, simply copy the needed resources you want to run this mod.

Now, when loading a save file, the player will spawn at the point where it was saved.
