Description

Disables the very long and unskippable intro title sequence, unlocks the developer debug menu, and unlocks a map selector that was used to give press demos.

Installation

  1. Navigate into ..\Steam\steamapps\common\deus ex - human revolution\ (finding these folders depend on where you have Steam installed) and make a backup of patch0.000 though you can have Steam redownload it by doing verify integrity if you want the original file back.
  2. Unpack the download into the same folder, so you'll have a "new", modded patch0.000 file. If you don't need a backup, over-write the existing file.
  3. Play!

Great upload, thanks man. For anyone downloading this, click on "read more" in the description for how to install, as the file is not an executable.

What's the debug menu for? Is that kind of like a console with commands?

Yeah. But instead of typing commands,it tells you what does what and you either set it to false or true.My only gripe with it is that the Debug Menu is difficult to set options but it's only a minor gripe with the menu itself.

Seems that the game's second patch overrides this mod. It no longer has any effect.

Nice !
Works perfect & the Map Selector is very useful.
But it only shows controller-buttons in it - so what are the keyboard buttons L, A and B ?
