Earth, 2019. A team of US scientists makes a frightening discovery on an island in the South China Sea, and all contact with them is lost when the North Korean government quickly seals off the area. The United States responds by dispatching an elite team of nanotech-suited Delta Force operatives, and tensions quickly rise to boiling point. Created using the CryEgine 2 Editor, This horror map set in a deserted mining station above an asteroid is carfully scripted to scare the S*$t out of you, featuring action set peices, music, and an overall feeling of unease and doom. I dare anyone not to be disturbed by this level. Using ony 1mb of space and original Crysis assets, I would hope anyone could spend 30mins of their time enjoying the scares that will come. I worked on that one as animator too.
I had a blast with this, except that it crashed on the climax, running Crysis on very high adds the tension of... Will it handle it,When it will crash or burn my GPU or simply blow my PC in a billion pieces?
Anyway, nice job, quite entertaining.
absolutely fantastic start but the end was a real let down, when you get to the core, with the guy in it and everything collapses, i couldnt do anything - i either died falling down or when i fell down i was teleported to the ship with fire, then i moved and teleported back and was falling.
