Conquest is a real-time, multi-player space warfare game that was originally written in RATFOR for the VAX/VMS platform by Jef Poskanzer and Craig Leres in 1982. It was the early predecessor to Netrek.
A valiant klingon is defending his home system from a pack of raiding Feddy Bears (what Federation players are affectionately called. Heh heh.)
He's in a spot of trouble with shields at 36, wep temp at 51 and F3 right on top of him. His best bet is to head for another team planet, refuel, repair, and attack while the Feds are bombing Tarsus. He might be able to take out F3 on the way.
You have to lower shields to bomb a planet and the armies do damage - thats a great time to attack the aggressors.
