March, 2047. A massive nuclear fireball explodes high in the night sky, marking the dramatic beginning to the Third Tiberium War. The infamous Kane has returned to lead the Brotherhood of Nod in a massive global assault on the Global Defense Initiative and the few remaining Blue zones left on the planet. Only you can stop him. The fate of humanity – and the planet – is in your hands.
A map pack (for C&C3 Tiberium Wars) consisting of singleplayer and multiplayer maps, as well as some variations. More details in the description.
PRODUCT OF 'SAY HI TO MR BULLET'
This map pack is for C&C Tiberium Wars (NOT KANE's WRATH) and consists of 6 maps as well as some variations. These maps are listed below: "THE COMMANDO CHRONICLES (TOP DOWN)" - A variation of the previous "TCC" map where the view has been changed so that the battlefield view is directly 90 degrees to the ground. This limits the view quite a bit, so make sure that you've already played the map before (the older version) or else you may find it too hard or even get stuck. "HOW's YOUR TANK?" - An EXPERIMENTAL map where you drive a predator tank while viewing the battlefield from the tank itself. In other words it looks like a tank mission of an ordinary FPS. Due to this map being experimental there are a list of issues: bugs, glitches, view issues, no textures etc. Your only objective is to kill everything you see. "THE AVATAR TEST" - Nod scientists have created a new prototype version for the Avatar. So far it has proven effective in the battlefield however Nod officers aren't very keen to put it into mass production due to its high cost. In order to prove its worthyness you will be assigned to protect the prototype as it attempts to complete the AVATAR test, where it will assault a GDI supply base and cause havoc among the alien forces there. After the test has been completed, you must protect the Avatar as it makes its evac. Should it make it out of there alive, the prototype will surely then be put into production and who knows, it may even get named after you commander! "HOLD THE LINE" - Another experimental map where you must defend your base against waves of enemies with only the equipment that you capture at the start. Hold out for as long as you can with whatever you have. "HOLD THE LINE (HARDCORE)" - For those who become perfect at holding the line, this version will give you a more difficult time as you'll now have more units to fight! "HOLD THE LINE (TOP DOWN)" - Similar to "TCC (TOP DOWN)" except the view all takes place from a captured Nod Venom, which must be moved around in order to attend to different parts of you're base. "OUTBREAK-DUEL" - Taking inspiration from Starcraft 2, "Outbreak-Duel" is a 2 player multiplayer map with a day and night circle. By day you fight your opponent but at night, masses of Scrin attack anyone in the area. Do you have what it takes to survive? "OUTBREAK-DUEL (TOP DOWN)" - Same as all the other top down maps. "DC INVASION" - A top down arcade-like shooter where you must get your commando to the end of the map in time while fighting of masses of Scrin. The current record is 6 minutes and 42 seconds. "WAR OF THE SEA" - A 4 player multiplayer map set on a bunch of islands. Sets of turret defences can be taken over by capturing the east and west nodes, while aircraft carriers can be taken over by capturing the north and south nodes. In the middle of the map there is a node which when captured, will give you an ion cannon. There are both GDI and Scrin creeps on this map.
INSTALLATION1. Copy each map FOLDER (should be like 10 folders - they are found in the zip file) (for example: 'The_Avatar_Test') and put them into your application data (the location should be somethinglike: C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps)2. Run the game and then run this map like you would any other multiplayer/campaign map.
COPYRIGHTYeah, please don't copy these and upload them in your name otherwise I'll get pissed. On a lighter note, play the maps and enjoy. :)
NOTESSingleplayer maps are located in custom maps.Multiplayer maps are functional with mods. For 'Hold the Line', you start off with some engineers which you use to capture certain structures (your choice of which ones). Using those structures you must defend the area from the incoming enemy. For 'DC Invasion', the idea is to get from one end of the map to the other. There is no goal in 'How's Your Tank?'All maps have working AI and multiple difficulties. When you die in 'How's Your Tank?', you simply respawn.'Hold the Line' is not textured on purpose. The same cannot be said for 'How's Your Tank?'
KNOWN BUGS!!"WAR OF THE SEA" - Invincible buildings (including important structures) have been known to get destroyed. Don't know why. Can't resolve."OUTBREAK-DUEL" - Night to day transition is rubbish. Cannot make it any better than what it is."WAR OF THE SEA" - AI is crap on this map (but does work). Tried to make it better. Failed."DC INVASION" - When first getting in the flame tank, it will not be able to move. To fix this, simply wait around 5 secs and you should then be able to move again."DC INVASION" - Flame tank is slow and can get stuck amongst masses of alien units."HOW's YOUR TANK?" - Alot of bugs: none game breaking (except for view bugs)."THE AVATAR TEST" - Occasionally the Avatar will be seen going backwards. All this means is that it missed a waypoint and that it is going back to pass it. "THE AVATAR TEST" - Sometimes the Avatar will stop completely. Resolve by saving often."WAR OF THE SEA" - Node in the middle is supposed to give you multiple ion cannons but it only gives you one."WAR OF THE SEA" - Clipping issues with aircraft carriers: not game breaking."HOW's YOUR TANK?" - Sometimes you will not be able to see your tank at the start. Solve by moving the camera around (rotate it) to find the purple tank or restart the level.
