Overview

Aura is a fast paced trading card game with easy to learn hard to master gameplay.

Aura is set in a world which took a different turn than ours
Each player plays as a ruler who has control over one of seven auras - Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Gold, Silver, Black. These auras grant amazing powers to the ruler and their followers. No one currently knows where these auras came from but it has been suggested that archaeologists that have been studying a lost city, Lantia stumbled across something that may have been the origin of aura.
(Game lore is set in a futuristic world - lore under development)

Gameplay

Deck Building

Deck building is a major concept within trading card games, your deck is the cards you have to play with during each game and consists of the cards you have collected through pack opening and trading with other players. You can swap cards in and out of your deck when you aren't playing a game. Deck building has some rules to it though.
Rules
You can only have cards with the same aura as your ruler.
Decks must consist of 40 cards - no more no less.
You can have up to 3 of the same card in your deck except cards with the word ‘unique' you can only put one of in your deck.

How to Play

Turn Sequence
Start Phase > ready step (ready all your cards) > draw step (draw a card)
Action Phase > action step ( do any of the following - play cards, use powers, attack. in any order desired.)
End Phase > end turn step (no more actions taken any end phase effects happen and turn is passed)

Turns have a timer of 120 seconds.

Attacking
To attack during the action phase, you select which follower you wish to attack with then select its desired target. The follower that attacked then becomes exhausted.

Game Modes

1v1
In this mode it is just you versus your opponent.
2v2
In this mode you have an ally and yourself versus two opponents.
Draft
In this mode you are given many packs to construct a brand new deck from. You get to pick from a list of rulers first before you begin the draft.
Spectrum
In this mode there are seven players - one of each aura and the last one standing is the winner. (concept may be changed)
