The full-featured game will showcases six unique classical civilizations, each depicted at their peak of economic growth and military prowess. Developed using a ground-breaking new game engine custom built to suit our needs, 0 A.D. will give players a rich and entertaining real-time gaming experience, peppered with historical authenticity.

Description

A tranquil Celtic village discusses military maneuvers for the following morning. This screenshot colorfully illustrates our new self-shadowing system. You'll notice grass objects, units, trees, and buildings casting shadows on themselves and onto other objects. This graphical feature represents a pretty big milestone for our little indie RTS project. One may also notice (if one were to look very closely) the first official Female Citizen unit has been shown in-game. She is the Celt "Merch".
