Sounds more like some wildman being hungry...

Yeah probably just crazy, but it is odd the officer shot him to death. You're not supposed to use deadly forced on unarmed civilians.

Is it sad that lately I don't find it odd that an officer used deadly force on an unarmed civilian? : P

At least I can understand it in this case; the guy was clearly on something and in the process of eating a man's face to death. The officer needed to act quick for the other guy's sake, seemed to be more on his own in the video, and something tells me pepper spray wouldn't be effective. I guess the first shot wasn't even effective as the guy shrugged it off and kept eating in true zombie fashion. I'd switch into Romero-mode at that point too.

I've been waiting for this moment for years now. I'm so prepared.

Also, I hope someone is watching the victim, if he starts attacking people then we are in some serious trouble. :)

I figure it'll be about five or six months before the zombies spread all over, and by that time it'll be December.

How convenient! It's the beginning of the end; looks like the Mayans were right after all.

Time to place treadmills around your house and hope that the power doesn't go out. :D

I always hope when people say stuff like this that they are joking, because I will never understand why certain people WANT the Zombie Apocalypse.

Amen, freakyavatarperson. That plus.... you'd think with all the fiction about zombies, the world would be able to plan ahead a little better. But the chance of zombie apooclypse is far less (if at all) likely than, say, rise of the machines.

Not exactly sure, but the survival, or something. Perhaps that lots of people are dead, you can do almost anything if law and government no longer operates.
I think while the whole thing of being in a zombie apocalypse (surviving and not getting eaten) is appealing a bit, the realities would be, for most, be pretty sucky.
Realistically, anything would be dealt with quite quickly, military intervention and all. Have to be something to really catch a lot of people off guard, and spread pretty rapidly.

But fun side, I need to secure my house, and start building a harpoon cannon on the garage. :D

Reqieumthefallen, if zombies come, then all stupid people will die. If all stupid people die, only smart people will remain. Then that would be awesome as the opposite of hell. So let the zombies come running because i know several people that really need their brains eaten.

1. I highly doubt it would be that cut and dry

2. That's a horrible thing to say.

I don't know, maybe because while people frustrate me I still prefer them living to being flesh hungry zombies trying to kill me. People seem to think it'll be better if it's in the apocolypse but it really isn't. Everyone you've ever cared about is likely dead, the world will never be the same, and yeah the rules have changed -- not for the better.

To each his own I guess.
