Rune, AvP2, Crab Volley Ball -- I played a blank tape on full volume. The mime who lived next door complained. So I shot him with a gun with a silencer. - Stephen Wright |

Mine: 1) Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Best game in the Zelda series that may be crescened by the new Zelda game, but who knows?) 2) Xenogears (Best. Characters. Ever! The religious undertone also builds the game to heights, along with the great battle system) 3) Chrono Trigger (Great classic RPG that definitely deserves a remake sometime) -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

Final Fantasy 7 (Brought a new generation of gamers into the RPG fold. Reenvisionment of traditional character types and the invention of the modern anime badass in Sephiroth and Vincent.) Baldur's Gate 2 (Amazing RPG with incredible amounts of depth and immersive gameplay that kept me fully enthralled for 2 months.) Starcraft (Strategy redefined and perfected.) Counter-Strike (A game so simple, yet so difficult to master. Redefined the term 'addictive.') |

Oh, too many to list, too many to list! Pong The greatest games ever; the penultimate achievement of addictive, everlasting, external gameplay. They may not have art or story, but afterall, the three are just games. --

If you wanted the "penultimate achievement of addictive, everlasting, external gameplay", you should've also added Tetris. So many clones and spin-offs of such a great game that made the Gameboy huge -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |
