Reversing an animation in 3ds Max? | Locked | |

I already asked this in the 4d group (which, if you're an animator, I invite you to join!), thought I'd repost it here... How does one save an animation in reverse to a .bip file? All I've figured out how to do is play an anim in reverse, not actually automate the reversal of keys. I'm using 3ds Max 7. Thnx in advance for any and all help! |

Yes, but obviously this becomes time prohibitive if you have several hundred keys. Or if you want to amend another .bip file in motion flow mode. Or for a variety of other reasons. I imagine (am hoping) there has to be a way to automate the process... |

Why do it in the animation, do it in post process. It will be even easier if you export to stills. --

I use a program called ProMotion by Cosmigo Software it breaks animation into single frames which can be copy and pasted in any order. They support .flc which is a comman 3DSMax format if you could convert it back somehow to the other format. |

Please see above. And pasted below.
Now if someone could suggest doing it in post, we could have an infinite loop! Edited by: mikejkelley |
