Yeah the Director does suck, but when you look at house of the dead. It was a "fun" movie to watch, though it wasn't a good one.

Postal series doesn't really have anything new or special to the table to bring that could release a genuine story to a big screen audience. But it certiantly is a film I know he can adapt from a gameworld to be fun to watch and see the violence portrayed on screen with no limiatations.

I'm down to see how the film comes out, good or bad. It's postal. And RWS does care and are a very cool kickass group of developers. They don't make games for the sake of success and become the biggest dorks like that of Microsoft, VALVe, EA ect.

RWS is RWS, doing what they like and making sure people relate to it and make sure it has some humour in the way to grab a dirty persons attention.

He described the movie as "Pulp Fiction meets Falling Down meets Wag The Dog," and said that just like the game, it will show that a task as mundane as cashing a check can be a big adventure.

I thought House of the Dead was utterly painful, but some people think it is funny. Ok, I'll give you that. But have you seen any of this guy's other movies?

Alone in the Dark made my then-Freshman in high school younger brother and his White Chicks loving friends walk out calling it stupid. These guys were bored by Doom, but this was the only movie they ever walked out of in their lives.

Chunky, it's true. He has the rights to film all of those games he has printed on there. Whether or not the funding will fully come through is another question, though I've heard he manages to get a lot of his money through a loophole in German film law.

Not sure if that is a bunch of internet BS or not, though.

It's an old PS1 game - Fear Effect 2 was probably one of the best games ever released on the PS1. The marketing was just awful - and it coincided with the release of the PS2 - clever bunnies...

Of course if you've seen any work not related to gaming, it is twice as horrible, I'd rather he butcher these piss poor excuses for story than fill our lives with over-zealous attempts at what appears to be a German lack of zeal...

At least over-zealous attempts don't get hyped up so easily. And some of those are pretty decent names when it comes to stories...

Please god don't allow him to make a movie of Hunter! Please, it's one of the few pen and paper RPG games that I enjoy!
