Offer My Services To Mod Community Thread

Hello

I would like to get involved in writing Music scores for Mods etc . Is there a particular process I need to follow or thread I need to read ? Is this even the right Site/Forum to post on ? I have been writing music off and on for over 10 years now and would like to get a bit more serious with my music . I dont mind working for nothing and I am part of an online core of musicians that writes music for free anyway. Our website is at www.metempsychosis.com

I've only got two projects in need of music, it's Gargoyle Arena and Gargoyle's Quest III (along the lines of this ditty and these ditties) Both are in a fantasy theme, dunno if that's your thing.... :o

I had a quick look and listen. First glances look very interesting. I would consider anything really but I would like to see a running demo or more images etc to get a feel for the game .

I listened to your song. I really like your song you have on there. minusbaby is also pretty good. I didnt like that song Kerry at all.

You have an interesting style ineed.

However, unless you are able to create some darker more grunge style music or just darker atmospheric stuff, I wont be able to use your services. I do have a very good musician already helping out.

If you are able to help out with my mod which just went through a drastic overhaul (news to be released soon) then contact me. I am very interested in having a full soundtrack.

if you can make sounds then your my man....if its songs then I dont need that.

Yeah , because we are a collective of musicians, there are many different styles of music on there, from ambient to noise to 8bit styles etc

Thanks . I try to try different styles. I play a few instruments too which helps give my music an edge sometimes .
I am actually interested in writing more darker/grungy styles and yes I would be interested in seeing what you have created and listening to what music you have already at your disposal for reference.

Are there game images on there ? Yeah , I am interested in getting stuck in almost imediately . Can you send me more info ?

We don't have any real ingame shots of our own at the moment, as our models can't be imported into Far Cry until the release of the SDK, same goes with any hardcore programming (rats). I can however send quite a lot of map shots instead !
Prepare your inbox for bombardment, just prepare a few shots for you. You'll find our terrain to be very high quality - the main technique behind the Dh3 product is to use low poly / low tris environments with high resolution texture jobs and minimum unnecessary graphical mapping.

Head to our forums and introduce yourself, then I can give you access to the staff forums.
