Hey guys,

I am currently looking for platforms, which let player rate games and comment on them similar to Steam. However, I am looking for platforms, which either only provide indie games or have a filter-option to view indie games only. The reason for this is that I am looking for negative player feedback on indie games to come up with playability heuristics for my bachelor thesis. There is IndieDB of course, but the problem I have is that the searched items are listed by latest activity. Most of the games lack feedback from players and checking out the popular titles does not make much sense, because they usually have a good playability (thus they are popular).

Do you know any websites/platforms, which let me search for indie-games only with an option to filter by ranking/score?

Best wishes,

Kjell

Gog.com seems to fit your description, it offers a filter for indie only and it shows ratings with comments similar to how steam works (However it does not seem to have an option to show only negative ratings).

Thank you, it's an interesting site, but the lack of sorting by rating makes it very difficult to work with. More tipps are very welcome!

By the way, you can sort reviews by lowest/negative ratings too: Indiedb.com (you just need to watch out for indie mods here)
