this is my post over at nystic 2.0 :
"the face and gun are things i worked on, the face took about 12 hours to model and the gun, another 8 - not straight after lol

i haven't learnt to texture properly yet, but i'm watching a few vid tutorials now :P
i was also wondering if anyone knew how to set up animations for a gun ingame, like reloading and things, so that when you reload ingame, it triggers the animation?

*EDIT*

This is my gun textured, it took me a while to unwrap the uv and arrange it but i was wondering if you could possibly tell me if it looks good or not, and if not so good, maybe provide a few textures to help :P

Thanks again,
Forsyth14"

i came over here to ask what you thought, if you could help me with the animation tutorial search (listed above ^^).
i've been on blender for about a week and a half to two weeks and i am finding it hard to get proper tutorials on animating
guns.
i have now textured the gun listed above and included the link in this post, its not the best but just to start learning :P

For better critique on models, it helps to post multiple views and the wireframes. Same deal with the texture; posting a screenshot of the texture itself with the UVs overlayed makes it easier for other artists to see how you have it layed out.

As for setting up the gun animations for a game, it all depends on the engine.

Thats a really good face you know. I haven't tried to make one. Search Voltlight on youtube and look through his vids using Blender. He tells you how to make the proper animation bit with the slide thing.
