Hey guys,
I just made this extension for Google Chrome. It will notify you about new threads/PMs/updates on your account.

Here is the link:
Chrome.google.com

Enjoy and tell me what you think.

Soon I might work on it a little more so there will be popup with ability to clear updates etc.

I got to admit, that looks pretty cool.

I don't use any urls except main page. It checks if you are logged in, if you are -> it reads this thing:
(voythas) | 0 | 1 update | 1 thread | logout
And using regular expressions, takes only numbers from 0 | 1 update | 1 thread and then sums everything up.

Soon I will update it and fix some minor issues.

Thanks for your kind words guys.

As I said before, there is a new update of extension:
Chrome.google.com

Soon I will make bigger update and add some new feature (like ModDB customization, etc).

Regards - voythas.

EDIT:

Okay, here is screenshot from upcoming version:

Iv.pl

All features that you can see on the screenshot are already working, all I need to do is to clean up the code :D.
After this, I am going to work on popup.

Regards

Yes, you are right, I removed it in newest version (it's up now).

Sorry for this, it won't happen again.
Now I will clean up the code and try to put popup info.

Do you guys have any suggestion to this extension?

Wow, I like this extension. Thanks :)

20 sec interval is very short, somthing like 1 min would be less intensive and do just the same, only the staff get updates every few min.

Feb 20 2010 Anchor

Default interval is 5 minutes i just uploaded screenshot with 20 seconds because I was testing few things and I couldn't actually wait 5 minutes to check :P.

Okay, there is version 0.40 now, I fixed few things like wrong summing up etc and I am figuring out this popup thing.

Hope you like it.

Good stuff, if i wasn't in the habit of checking ModDB every 20 minutes I would use it. I'll make a post on our blog about it for ya.

EDIT: Here is the link to the blog post. Moddb.com
