MacGyver mod! Thread

I just got this idea, so it's just this one sentence or word... MacGyver mod!
Unless someone is already making one or has made one, I wanna play it!

So player is MacGyver and he builds bombs and uses his jackknife to do some cool stuff. He should also have a lighter and cigarettes, so he can start smoking when he feels there's some invisible lasers in the area. Then the cigarette smoke reveals the lasers. Sometimes MacGyver might have some gun.

MacGyver mod is a mission based game. So you choose the equipment before the mission. It's also possible to find equipment from the environment. MacGyver can use stuff found from the environment to build traps and bombs.

Sometimes it will be sneaky and sometimes more action style.

I think this would not work to well in a computer game. Go table top roleplaying instead.

Maybe it's a roleplaying game then? I know there's many good roleplaying games on computers.

Maybe it could work for NWN.

I've never seen MacGuyver with a gun. At all.

Well he doesn't fire it at least.

A-Team shoot but never kill .

Anyways, the idea is cool, sounds like a bit of 007: Nightfire plus Splinter Cell, as well as MGS, heh.

I seem to recall that an A-Team mod got shut down sometime last year. that really sucks, I want an A-Team mod! - actually it would work quite well with Far Cry !

Can't recall, my guess is that it would have been whoever has rights to the series in the first instance? lol.

Well, they did attack Action Quake2 because they merely used the Ateam theme for the credits then, as well as having the same logo

I've seen MacGyver use an assault rifle. He was in some jungle place and then there were some drug lord thughs and he got a weapon from them. And if I remember correctly, in the first episode, he got a gun in the start when he freed some aircraft pilot from some terrorists...

Yeah, and he tied that AK47 to a tree and set it off to distract them.

But you defnintly need all teh gadjet makeing and stuff.. cuase that was MacGyver in a nutshell
