Just earlier today, my favourite PC Gaming Magazine, the Australian-made 'PC Powerplay', has recently given me an incentive to jump around my house like a lunatic for three days straight. In issue #100, which was released this month (June), they held "The Big Quiz" - a large selection of difficult gaming-related questions - to find "Australia's Smartest Gamer". What really caught my eye was the prize: "... you'll win ATI's hot new high end videocard...", which has turned out to be the blisteringly fast Radeon X800 series. Not knowing any better, I decided to spend an ardous three days going through old issues of PC Powerplay scouring for answers for the difficult questions. Some really stumped me, while others proved to be quite easy. Overall it was a well compiled competition (My favourite question was "In which game do you travel through a location called 'The City'?" I was totally confused by this, but it wasn't until I reread through all my answers and realised what it was; I literally jumped in the ear! Can you guys guess the answer?) After I read the new issue of my favourite gaming magazine, I look through it again to find some contests (they usually aren't that big as the contest you won, tho), and start in them. ) I mailed my answers off to the PC Powerplay headquaters. It was on Wednesday the 19th when I decided to check my e-mail that I got a reply from a previous e-mail I had sent to PCPP. With my stomach in a knot, I read on: "Wow, just heard the good news - congratulations mate! Lucky bugger, you're going to have an ATI RADEON X800XT before me - you can see benchmark results in the next issue of PCPP. World's Fastest Videocard.". Hyped up and excited, I rushed to the forums, and lo-and-behold I gazed upon this.
