I trust Bethesda, to an extent. While Morrowind was done well for it's time save for a few problems, I think they have a good art team behind them at least. -- Website: Phaitaccompli.com |

I have not played either of the other two, so I could not be considered a fallout fanboy, but I did think they looked cool, and if I do decide to buy this one I'l get those two first. They have a site yet? |

Bare in mind a large percentage of the Fallout guys left Black Isle to start Troika. I hope Bethesda can modify their style from Morrowind to capture that Fallout grit without it feeling like a joke. I'll wait and see. But I hold a glimmer of hope. |

Yes. Check out www.nma-fallout.com or www.rpgcodex.com for information on Fallout 3. A lot of fanbois are pizzed that it may not be isometric or turn based and will probably be real-time. As a lover of FO1 & FO2, as long as they stay true to the style...Im all for it. Also... Interplay still owns the rights to a Fallout MMORPG...and might be planning to do something with it. |

I know. I was just pointing out that some of the original Fallout talent weren't with Black Isle any more and now basically there's no Black Isle full stop from my understanding. Although I found some of the Black Isle design docs recently hosted on one of the Fallout fan sites. They had some awesome plans for the game. Restored my faith in BiS. Real pity.

it could well be better as a 1st or better still 3rd person (or toggle) shooter - realtime, or somekind of a mix. maybe be like a regular shooter but have hit percentage (say: eyes, groin the great stuff) displayed when the crosshair goes over that part. i hope they keep stuff like being able to blow part of some1s head, stomach, or chest cavity away, or the way laser rifles could cut ppl in half, plasma melt em', or like the kickin yk42b pulse rifle n downright fry em' (original, or extra crispy?) (that would look kick ass in realtime, good grphx, ect) n big recoil for the sniper rifles n stuff that should have recoil -- In the name of God, impure souls of the living dead shall be banished into eternal damnation. Bethesda have worked on some pretty good titles, and hopefully Fallout 3 will be of the same calibur. I enjoyed the previous Fallout titles, mainly 2 but even so I think it would be just as good with or without turn. -- uwu
