Hi! I'm having a little issue with one of my games. I decided to update the description a bit, but after updating I noticed the whole field was blank. I've copied the description, but every time I paste it in to update it keeps showing it completely blank afterwards. It's this game here:

Indiedb.com

Now, I have no clue why this is happening, but if anyone knows I'd like to hear it! Thanks!

Hi seems like it is the same issue reported by 2 other developers in a newer thread here: Moddb.com

The site web developer & founder has been already contacted about this seemingly serious problem so now it is best to wait.

As for vanishing descriptions/html/text - the only other case when your HTML-allowed field "vanishes" is when you mistype one of HTML tag double quotes as single quotes - but it cuts off the remaining HTML it doesn't remove everything from the page.

The whole field turning blank seems like a totally new issue.

Oh, I see! Good to know, I hope they'll resolve it soon. ;)

Hello I'd like to also weigh in regarding this situation. I too am having this exact same problem. Basically it arised from when I had a custom CSS design injected into my moddb page, however as said above, when ever I edit the summary field, or add links e.t.c, upon updating, the summary field ends up totally blank. Same too happens to the news page if edited, it gets totally wiped.

I hope this can be resolved soon.

This is my moddb page:
Moddb.com

You can see I now only have a description field, no summary and my news post is wiped. I can write letters and words in it, but not much more, i.e adding images works but I cant align them, and I can't add div code either..

Cheers,
Sturm.

Just received a reply from the site founder, it is due to the newly implemented XSS library, the problem is being investigated right now.

Best to wait for the issue to be resolved before editing the page again.
