Hi, today when I opened page with my game: Indiedb.com
and I saw that whole my code for background and text shadow disappeared.
When I try to add it again, in preview window everything seems to work but when I click "save" it disappeard again :(

Here is my code, it was still working 2 days ago:

<div style="background: url(http://gmclan.org/uploader/2856/bc.jpg) repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent; margin-top: -1em; padding: 0pt 60px 8pt 8pt; text-shadow: 0pt 0pt 10pt #e3e3e3; text-align: justify; color: white; font-weight: bold;">

Please help, now my page looks terrible :(

Hey, I am also having serious troubles with the description layout ! My game's description was looking fine but about 3 days ago it has been completely broken after updating the game. Not only the description was broken, but all frames of the page ! After contacting the staff (and still haven't got any response from them), I debugged the stuff myself and found out that adding style in the HTML code will be automatically removed on saving and may give unpredictable result. If you don't use it will be all fine.

I think the admins updated the code that check if the user's HTML code is valid but it has obviously gone wrong and now we can't use CSS without having it removed.

But I can't be sure because some games have their descriptions still looking fine but at least mine and your are broken !

We need help/explanations from the admins.

Yes the site founder & web developer has been notified about this seemingly critical/serious issue. And you guys made another thread for the same problem reported already a few hours earlier: Moddb.com

So it is 3 developer's pages that have been affected so far.

sorry but it was the first topic I found and the name was more explicit :|

Anyway, I hope my description of the problem can help.

I also have a problem with that, we're currently #4 and the visual of our page affects that!
Anyone with an update on how to fix it?

Hello I'd like to also weigh in regarding this situation. I too am having this exact same problem. Basically it arised from when I had a custom CSS design injected into my moddb page, however as said above, when ever I edit the summary field, or add links e.t.c, upon updating, the summary field ends up totally blank. Same too happens to the news page if edited, it gets totally wiped.

I hope this can be resolved soon.

This is my moddb page:
Moddb.com

You can see I now only have a description field, no summary and my news post is wiped. I can write letters and words in it, but not much more, i.e adding images works but I cant align them, and I can't add div code either..

P.s I have noticed that if you have a custom CSS page design implemented, some fields like news posts remain intact, that is until you go to edit them, then it seems to break the code and cause the entire article to delete itself.

Cheers,
Sturm.

Hey got a reply, it is due to the newly implemented XSS library, the problem is being investigated right now. Better not to edit the profile page until the issue is resolved.

Ok thanks for the heads up Feillyne, hopefully it will be sorted soon.
