Crappy Concept Artest looking for work. Thread

I admit it, I'm crappy. So don't hire me unless you’re desperate. The only things that I can really draw are buildings, no creatures or humans. Just buildings and a bit of landscape.

If I knew how to put a sample of my work here I would.

I don't think anyone, even someone desperate, would want to hire a crappy artist, to tell you the truth. It just means you're not ready to be on a modding team. Improve your skills first (read drawing books and practice on your own) before considering joining a mod team. Only then will you be ready.

you forgot to add grasshopper to the end of your post Karuto.

BUt anyway, the #1 way to NOT get hired is to say: I'm crappy, please hire me.

unfortunatley there is a chunk of good artists who consider there work crappy so u dont know that for sure. post some work m8, confidence is always good though

what about posting something... i would like to see what you call crappy... i'm somebody who has been told a couple of times too that it's good although i thought this can't be good at all yet... show off... better than saying you are crap without trying it.

hmm.. I may hire ya... Even if ya cant produce somethin we can use, in time u'll be able to.. I always like to take in starters..

what kind of building you think you can draw? more medieval stuff, modern buildings or sci-fi ones?

My picture doesn't have a url and I don't know how to get one for it, if someone can tell me how to get a url please tell me and I'll post one piece of my work.

And Dragonlord my strength is in medieval stuff thou I can draw modern stuff too if needed.

I look at my work as crappy before someone tells me it isn't, so I'm just kinda trying to be honest with others and myself... I think.

Ok deal. I'll try it. Last time I tried sending an attachment it took about half an hour, no joke, before I gave up because it took to long to attach. The thing I sent was a little file too.

I can also draw weapons like swords and bows and stuff, only medieval. I just found some of my weapon pics and I was quite impressed with myself. I would post the here but I'm pressed for time, I used all the internet time up for this month.

We had to get rid of the msn thing we had because it kept stuffing up the net.

well... acces to ICQ? otherwise then by mail... would like to have a talk to you to find out a bit more how your style is and such.

I wouldn't say you were crappy... I think you just have alot to learn. Go to your public library and hire some books on drawing techniques, shading and stuff mainly. Especially when doing buildings and scenic drawings will you need to know shading.

Also, you should consider learning Adobe Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro. Theres alot you can learn in digital art, and it produces far better results at times.
