others and myself would love a coop mod for COD especcially if u can go through the single player missions with a couple of other players cos too many players would make it far too easy,anyway what ya think cos i really want this made -- its nice to be important but its more important to be nice |

thanx CheapAlert for the vote of confidence but by the looks of it teh_fonx is right i may have to make it myself despite i havent got the foggiest where to start by making a mod -- its nice to be important but its more important to be nice |

It's very hard to get support here unless you're able to do at least 100% of the work yourself anyway. |

Unfortunatly, there is a vast differance between SP and MP. MP allows for maybe half the entities of SP, so it's going to take an engine hack to make it work. Not only is that illegal, it would only work for those that wish to install CoD again just for the coop mod. -- 2ltben |

I'm not sure that that's true with CoD Ben, it would have to be specifically coded as so certain entities would not appear in MP. I doubt people would do this as it reduces the scope of 3rd party productions. I'd still give it a try, even if you're not sure it would work, after all, how else can you say that you succeeded if you never tried? There may even be work arounds to the said entity problems. Just look for them and don't be discouraged! |
