Is it possible to close a game or mod profile temporarly? (or to disable comments) As far as I know, there is one and only way, to perma suspend the page, but it's not the case here.

thanks

You can have the profile deleted, it basically delists it from public veiw, but still exists for you to see but not edit.

It is possible to make it unauthorised so you can add/modify/view content, comments etc. but the community can't. (afaik if it is deleted/closed you can't view/see/modify/add anything, only if it is unauthorised.)

Which mod would you like un-authed?

Actually the one we are working on, but the main reason is to exclude it from moty, because we got tired of comments from people who never read what moty is actually about. It would be awesome if we could properly control our profile, such as we could decide if we want to join an event or skip it.

Well, you probably can only either ignore or delete nasty comments. MOTY is not some "optional" competition or event. Not sure how MOTY exclusion works exactly (and whether a mod can be excluded at all, ie hide MOTY buttons etc) and if it could be arranged.

people just need to understand moty is not just about released mods/games. seems like deleting spam comments is the only way so far, but i sent a msg thru the "contact us" panel as well.

This is now an option, but should only be done with good reason, we want everyone to be eligible if they legally can be.
