Changing the Mod Awards slightly. Thread

Ok after reading this thread i am considering changing the MOTY Golden Spanner awards slightly.

Here is what they presently are:

Best Player Models
Best Non-player Models
Best Level Designs
Best Website
Best Animation Set
Best Model Textures

And here is the proposed change:

Best Player Models & Best Non-player Models merged into one category Best Models
Best Model Textures renamed to Best Skins
New Category Best Sound / Music

What do you think? Too late to change or go ahead

I don't believe it is 2 late as essentially all that is happening is 1 category is getting renamed.. and 2 modelling ones are been merged to make way for the sound category?

There's plenty of different areas you could cover, but these seem just fine for now. Best Sound/Music does certainly cover a lot more bases, seeing as how some mods have great original music Can't wait to see the winners of these awards.

WEll he gave me a question. What i meant was, i dont think you should merge the subjects into two, and keep it how it is, but add the sound award.

And yes, i am a smartass.

just with the slight problem: the changes don't show up! i still have the old voting-set.

he hasn't made the changes yet... he was askin should they be changed

i see... missed the important phrase up there ^_^... yes... do it... i wanna vote some mods

sounds cool too me.. shame there wasnt a best idea/best concept/Most original type award .. Cos thats what mod need these days in a world of a zillion war mods and plenty DBZ mods..

not really, as best level design goes for the design through out the maps of the game, Bluewolf is refering to one perticular map.

Best Original Mod would be great, since we did have a Monthly Award for it. lol

Do it since my mod was given the EAX SDK by Creative and should have a beta build of it out soon for farcry and then you would see

I don't think so. They'll still be there. He's just modifying and adding categories. I'm sure your votes will be moved to make up the difference

i dowt theyll be changed now .. its rather late and i think INtense is very busy atm.

True, this was like a month ago. I think it's fine the way it is right now ^_^ Although, truth be told, the Best Concept award would've been overflowing with weird ideas

yeah too bad its not gonna be changed because I had a perfect cantidate for best sound
