Hey guys, just as I have never modelled for a game before I was wondering what do you think would be the best modelling program for an RTS game, preferably one that is suitable for SAGE?

all 3d program are suitable for RTS game, it is the style of modeling that is different. 3dsmax and maya is two of the best program for modeling, wide choice of export and support of export plugins. But it comes with a steep cost. Blender is the free tools most people use if they don't want to spend 2000-3000 dollars for max or maya.

GMax is a popular free choice for Generals, and 3dsMax also has exporters to other SAGE engine games.
