Badges/Banners - How does one get them? Thread

How do you get a badge or a banner? For instance, you'll see users with "Mapper", "Pro", "3D artist", etc. On their page or beneath their avatars in the forums.

I'm not in the know, apparently...What's up with that, maaaan?

Click your own name under the portrait, then edit profile

Certain tags are also given by staff only.

You need to replace moddb with indiedb, as tags are separate per forums.
