Oh man, your writing in this post really isn't helping you look like you're worth hiring.

I've been stalking these forums for a while now, and that definitely seems to be a recurring theme.

TOP TIP for any writers out there: you will be judged on every single word you type in a public place. Treat all your forum posts, especially on boards like this, as portfolio pieces. Get your spelling and grammar right, post examples of your work, try to inject a bit of style into your messages. If you can't do that on the forum, why should anyone believe you can do it on a project?

Words are supposed to be the tools of your trade. Use them like you know how.

Spelling gets a 10/10, though. :)

It would also help if you posted your portfolio, or a short story you wrote. Better yet, a simple script for video games that shows you understand the limitations of Indie development and the medium in general.
