Add mod forums to main forum list Thread

Hello, Wouldn't the abilty to add mod forums to the main forum page be a nifty idea? No? You could choose which ones to add and what order they reside? Still not convinced? Well, your loss.

no, that'd spam up the place and act as advertising.

How would it spam up the place if your the one that chose which to see.. If it spammed up the place it would be because you put them there

I quite like the idea, or at least a way of listing your "want to visit" forums somewhere

That'd be pretty awesome, in fact. Point taken : the only spam factor that would arise is from the stupidity of the user from adding too many mod forums. Hopefully this idea will be implemented. 'Tis got my vote!

cheap rants 2 much about nice ideas and i think that this might be an idea as well.. why not have all the active mods sign up on a form or something and they can have their mods equally advertised throughout the day that would be nice

The option to have certain mod forums appear on the forum main page for you only is a good idea!

i like the idea too. doesn't bloat up the forum. if you could now also select which 'existing' moddb forums to only show you could make a nifty well sized forum view for you.

They did it to the News page. Shouldn't be too hard for them to do it for the forums as well.

Great suggestion. Has been added to the list but it will take a while to implement.

Maybe instead, remove post count for mod forums?

Or start separate post counts for every mod forum (if that doesn't pose too much of a coding problem).

But yes, all the mod forums shouldn't show up in the active topics list. That would really spam the place...

i think psymon means that its personal.
its tied to your account: you can add the forums to the main page and order them as you want, but other people dont see that, they have theyr own there

Or you can make bookmarks/favorites
