The Independent Games Festival (IGF) juries have announced their Main Competition finalists for the 14th annual presentation of its awards, celebrating the brightest creatives and the most influential game designs to come out of the independent community in the past year.

The Independent Games Festival (known on the web as IGF) is in full swing once again in 2012, with this years judges having just posted their picks for the honourable mentions and final placings.


With our end of year events having just wrapped up it is nice to see that our personal selections mirror some of the judges selections Dear Esther, Frozen Synapse, To the Moon and Atom Zombie Smasher making the final cut.

Yes, congratulations to all nominees. It is a great selection of fantastic games and cool studios. Especially I'm glad about the Frozen Synapse nominations because I learned so much from Paul Taylors business/ marketing articles, which I recommend to all of you. Thanks for this and congrats.
