Hi there!

Work continues on my 63 Little Pieces project.



In this latest update the focus has been immersion. I wanted to expand on the narrative, ambience and letting the puzzles flow. To do so, the process envolved a scavenge hunt through internet talent and digging through tons of audio assets. I have found a ton of music and sound effects that fitted near perfectly my needs. A few, more peculiar, will require little more effort, thought and / or mixing.

Here's a break down of latest feature updates:

  • The biggest improvements is immersion, supported by:
    • Skipping victory screens on first playthough;
    • 25+ SFX added to levels and menus;
    • New music tracks and dialogs on Chapter 3;
  • When replaying levels, the victory screen will pop-up and has received an achievement glow animation for goals achieved;
  • Special Level unlocking cutscene - animation adjustments;
  • Intro - Reviewed timings and added a skip on key pressings;

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed the skipping cutscenes by removing Menu and Replay buttons once all keys have been obtained;
  • Title Screen - Press Start not aligned in other languages (only english for now);
  • Explosion Particles - with different speeds in BW, 2D and 2.5D perspectives;

To keep from from pixel being distorted when camera changes wxh do you use a shader to keep it together or just simply have texture interpolation on?
