You simply get rewarded for killing all monsters, finding all secrets and collecting all items. You will be rewarded with weapons (even new ones), powerups, ammo and other secrets.

What I would like to see is a mod menu option that allows the player to turn on or off the extra weapons. Weapons don't blend to well with mods like Guncaster.
Could you make it compatible with GZdoom 3.8.2 because it have some scripting erros when launching in this version.

tried to use 1.6 got this "VM execution aborted : tried to read from address zero"
I don't know, if some type of conflict with one wad you use I think.
turns out, I had to put it above project brutality
It keeps spawning me with the vanilla pistol and brass knuckles equipped regardless of what position in the load order I have the Reward Chests in. EOA, COD:BW, any mod that doesn't outright replace the two in code, it gives me these vanilla items instead of what I am supposed to spawn with.
Edit: Well with it abandoned with a critical bug, I assume this release is final. "Compatible with everything" is false advertising.

I think with the latest versions of GZDoom and all that it causes the mod to break in some of its features. Whether this gets even touched upon being that it has been about 2 years, it needs some serious fixing and tweaking.
I can't remove the default weapons from classic doom when using it with other mods, is there a way to disable this function? I have tried several versions of gzdoon from 3.0.0 to the latest but it seems that I have to resign myself to using vanilla weapons... can't it be made more "compatible" or more mod friendly? It is a mod that gives a lot of life to doom, I would say that it is a mandatory essential but the issue of weapons is a problem, guess it's only compatible with Brutal Doom and its variants...
