PP-19 Vityaz Virilized. ViVi for short.
Simple mod that replaces the Vityaz with a much better model and texture.
Model & Texture is made by Krycem & Noodum respectively. Blackgrowl has done big changes on the model & texture.
Also comes with new, unique animation set made by "Firebreath". The original shared the animation with the AK-101.
Also, has some balance changes, read the "DETAILS".

INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT:
* Although they are included, please overwrite this addon's scripts with the ones from Aoldri's Universal Animation Scripts (https://github.com/Aoldri/anomaly-addon-deps) as they will be updated there if any patches are made in the future.
* AMMO CHECK ANIMATIONS: This mod is required for the ammo check animations to work properly. If it's not present, the mod will still work but won't play Ammo Check Animations. MAKE SURE TO OVERWRITE ALL ADDONS WITH THE AMMO CHECK MOD (Load the ammocheck mod last)
AmmoCheck By Ishmaeel: Moddb.com (This is because other mods overwrite the ammo_check_mcm.script and this new update by Utjan allows us to play magcheck animations without touching the ammo_check_mcm.script)
The mod was made with FOMOD in mind, it's recommended you use Mod Organizer 2 (MO2). If not, manual:
Simply extract the "gamedata" to your main Anomaly folder.
Look for addons in "addons", extract gamedata from it to your main Anomaly folder.
Also if you are manually installing, check "combinations_for_fomod" for more options.

- "ORIGINAL GRIP". Changes the mesh so it uses the original AK-101 foregrip instead of the aftermarket.
- "NO-STAL-GIA" Skin. Changes the texture to resemble something GSC would make for ShoC, with dark green plastic parts.
- Also has it for "ORIGINAL GRIP", make sure to install that first then this one.
- "TRITIUM SIGHTS". Gives the non-scoped mesh tritium sights. For the default aftermarket and original grip.
* EFT Reposition Patch. Patch for "EFT Reposition", which changes how the gun is positioned.
* EFP Icon Overwrite. Fix for EFP icon not working.
* Enhanced Shaders' Metallic Patch. Makes the gun use the "Metallic" shader from Enhanced Shaders.

DETAILS

Model-wise:
- New Model made by Krycek, with textures made by Noodum. Both remade by Blackgrowl.
- Completely new unique animations by "Firebreath". It also adds partial reload, firemode switch, jam inspect, unjam and idle animations.
* Optional "ORIGINAL GRIP" addon that changes the foregrip to the original, which is exactly the same as the AK-101 foregrip.
* Optional "TRITIUM", available for both default & original grips, that adds tritium to the non-scoped models. The front is a very bright green while the back is a subtle red circle.
Texture-wise:
- Single 2048x2048 texture saved at DXT1 with Nvidia Tools, this reduces size and avoids strong compression artifacts.
- Single 2048x2048 normal map with professional-made specular saved at DXT5.
* Optional "NO-STAL-GIA" texture that changes the way the gun looks by increasing metal contrast and giving plastic parts, such as foregrip, grip, maggrip and parts of the stock a greenish tint similar to what the AK weapons have in Shadow of Chernobyl.
Balance-wise:
--- Now has its own upgrade scheme instead of sharing with PP2000! ---
* You can upgrade it to have better handling and recoil or much better accuracy.
- Changed the description so it has better history and lore.
- The gun is now able to use C-More sight.
* Now has lower handling, but upgrades will make it good.
* Worse static recoil, but better sustained recoil.
* RPM changed from 700 to 800
* "Condition Drop" has been rebalanced; it will no longer take only 3 clips to reach 70%, instead, roughly 10-11. Further upgrades improves reliability even further, which should be 15 mags.

COMPATIBILITY

Anything that changes "wpn_vityaz.ltx" is not compatible.
There will be a file called "upgrade_presets.tlx" that might conflict with other weapons, it's okay, the file is shared across all.
A merge/patch can be done relatively easily though.

It could be safe to remove if all the C-More Vityaz are not present in any map.

Absolutely not. AI Upscale is for lazy pretentious folk, unless you know how to use it and the AI and texture are made for such a task.
Also, no, this mod is not and never will be compatible with any "ultra 4k AI HD upscale textures" or whatever mod.
I also forbid you from doing any AI Upscale, if you do, at least keep it private.

This is how you must do it:
Do NOT get the whole mod, leave it be, make a texture for anything and publish it as you want, but also make sure that "Vityaz Virilized" is required.

This issue is caused by the mod "AWAR", one way to fix it is to simply remove it, some other solution...I don't know.

nice job but one thing that could be nice is if the holster animation didn't have those extra empty frames since i'm using the backpack anims from fdda and it's kinda annoying, ik you didn't made the animations but do you think you could shorten them or nah
No can do, but you can try something:
1. Go to your Anomaly folder, then gamedata/configs/items/weapons
2. Find the file called "w_vityaz.ltx", open it up, I recommend Notepad++ myself
3. Find "anm_hide", you'll see it has the parameter "vityazvirilized_holster, idle", change that to...
"vityazvirilized_holster, idle, 2.0" (without the quotes)
That number there should double up the animation, I think that is what you would like. Only issue would be the sound is a bit off.

I really enjoy the new model and the textures. Looks fantastic.
I'm noticing that the condition of the weapon deteriorates quickly. Every 3 to 4 shots is down 1% on the weapon. So, using just one clip is close to 10% reduction in the condition. I am not using GBOOBS on this new playthrough and I have already set the weapon degradation to .8 because at 1.0 it was quite severe.
Is there a setting in the .ltx file I can change to make it less fragile? Thank you.
I've looked at it and you are right, the condition drop is extremely high even if you set the option in gameplay to 0.5
I'll make an update that fixes this behaviour.
EDIT: It's done, the reliability should be as good as the MP5 itself now.

It was both "condition_queue_shot_dec" and "condition_shot_dec", give them the same value to one and the other when modifying.

I've found out that this issue is caused by using Maid's Icons, but the fix should be easy;
1. Go to gamedata\configs\icon_override\ico_maids_smg.ltx
2. Find this section that starts with "[wpn_vityaz]"
3. Completely delete it.
4. Don't forget about the rest, the ones that have scopes.
You do all this, it should work fine.
