Description

This addon will replace all BHL red crosshairs with the default HL crosshairs. It's useful for people who have difficulties seeing the custom crosshairs. Please note that it doesn't change any other part of the HUD, only the crosshairs. To install, simply extract the content of the zip into main Half-Life folder. Hope some of you will find it useful.

0.1 beta counts as released?

No, but its way better than nothing. I say it because in the mod page it says that the mod is released and I have seen too many young people who are always asking when the mod is coming out, but they have no idea how much work it needs to make a mod. The main reason why they don't know it is that there are no longer Modding tools for new games (expect Bethesda titles). Some games like Witcher 3 has some mods, but they are very few and they change only a little part of the game. Imagine that you track a mod for five or six years and then a mod maker say that he can't continue because he got burned out or his HDD crash and nobody can save it.

Also, I don't know why I get a dislike just for saying that there is at least a released version. Even if it's just a beta, but there were so many amazing mods which have never been released because some bad things happen like I said before.

Zoonyarts is working hard on his mod and he will definitely release a full version sometime in the future, but it takes some time to create a mod

Yeah the beta is supposed to attract attention and build a fanbase but theres always that portion that get impatient or lose hope of ever getting to see the mod truly shine. I'm not going thumb down anyone for complaining either. I prefer to stay cool.

I fully agree with this. Hopefully there will be no longer HDD crashes and more modders would make more frequent backups because when someone is making a mod for at least six years and doesn't have any backup its totally incomprehensible. Beta versions are a great thing. Unfortunately, today betas are no longer beta versions, but more like a demo version. The beta version one month before release, it's not a beta. It's just a demo which is available only then and after that you can look longer play it unless you buy it.
