The mod doesn't come with the SP weapon file to make it work in SP. However, you could attempt to make a single player weapon file and test it. Most weapon models will work in SP.
This mod works in cod1/uo MP. Yes it has an iron sight. Instructions to install this mod are included in the readme file.
