Description

This tool allows map editors to add areas to their maps in which a static mesh will be randomly generated each time the level loads, providing a unique experience each time the level is played. If there are boxes in a hallway that provide cover to a player, the boxes can be spawned differently each time the level loads which creates a different opportunity for cover each time the level is played

that's cool. would that fall under "procedural" content? It doesn't quite seem to fit the expression, but this variation of props and designs is somewhat procedural, imho.

i was wondering if this could be also possible with kismet?

...are they added as dynamic actors because they have to drop on the ground?
because in editor if you have a floating object and select it then you press the "end" key to drop that object to the surface beneath it.
if you are scripting maybe you can use this functionality.

Thanks for sharing.

This can be done with kismet, in fact that was one of the first trials I used. I created the script to make it a volume though so that all the user had to do was input some variables and then forget about it instead of setting up a script each time.
Thanks for checking it out, and please let me know if there are any issues you run into
