Description
This addon will replace russian voices of special characters and normal stalkers from all 3 stalker gamers with english variants. Some russian dialogue will still play but at least you will hear english most of the time.

some dudes still speak russian - just went to swamps and clear sky guys asked me to put my gun down in rusky.
I'm pretty sure that's normal in most of the games, last I checked there isn't any english voice lines for that

Was missing something like this . . . Hated how every stalker sounded the same as in CoP while there were so many good voice files in the other games. Definitely going to try it out.

I was looking for a subtitle mod because I really like that the NPCs speaks Russian, but this is more then the second best thing. After playing the game for a while you get curious on what they actually are saying to you. The voice acting is surprisingly good which is rare in mods/addons, heck, its even rare in some game.

Is it possible that only Mercs and UNISG operatives speak english if I copy only their sound files into Anomaly's gamedata folder?
It does if you do what you described, /gamedata/ overwrites the archive files.

It's great for the most part except when I "take too long" reading the dialogue and NPC's start to **** on me telling me I'm a retard lmao I can live with it tho... Unless there's some option via editing some files to change the amount of time between they say something but I've got no idea how to do that

just added this to Anomaly 1.5.2 GAMMA and seems to be working. thank you. i still prefer a lot of the old school nostalgia of soc. looking to replace the main menu music with the original

Any idea why the files in gamedata\configs\gameplay\ that are identical to the vanilla ones are included in this? I'm talking about:
character_desc_general_army.xml
character_desc_general_ecolog.xml
character_desc_general_greh.xml
character_desc_general_isg.xml
character_desc_general_killer.xml
character_desc_general_renegade.xml
All those files are identical to the default ones, why include them?
