Average cost of artifact in Call Of Misery is like 10000 RU. Bread costs 1300 RU. I made artifacts cost real money, just like how they should be.

Its a fantastic idea, considering some stalkers giving a message on PDA about good find and being rich. With original cost of artifacts it doesn't make sense. Anyway hunting for arties is a main purpose of Stalkers isn't it?
Great in my opinion. Artefacts now have some importance not just in the zone but for the world. I would imagine scientists around the world paying good money to study the anomalies and artefacts that came out of it. Thank you for this mod!! :)

If you compare prices to real life, then no, it isn't and it makes sense. Also, going into an anomaly is pretty much a deathwish without proper equipment, which also costs a lot. Even though artifact ia weak, it's still a frickin' artifact, something not known to the world, something different, it could have a lot of uses in different places. People would pay fortunes for that.
In my experience i haven't seen a lot of artifact's so it isn't making the game that easy to call it gamebreaking. It helps, obviously, but before this addon i didn't even care about artifacts as they weren't worth risking your life.

1 USD is approx. 58 RU, so I think that 200000RU for some artifacts is a fair price.
I admit, my choice of words wasn't the greatest there, but it was a mental shortcut, nothing to attack me for.

For me it's gamefixing. Now I feel like I'm stalker, not slave. If even artifacts so cheap, what the hell am I forget in zone? In all books and films, stalkers are artifact hunters. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is zone with outside normal world. Misery has great atmosphere, very realistic, so now you can play with 1 live and role play real stalker that came to zone for money.
I would suggest few things to make this addon a bit better and realistic:
1. configure anomalies to be deadly or make more damages to player.
2. Make less common artifacts more rare, and those most common(eg Jellyfish or Stone Blood) cheaper because they give no real advantages and they are actually worthless to anyone(so its not like every artifact is good to get). So Artifact hunt would be more difficult because you would mostly find those worthless ones.
3. Make Artifacts detector WAY more expensive and rare to get from traders, after all its big peace of technology that its not so often found. Those crappy ones, like echo detector are hard to use and not accurate, so they are more common, but bear or veles detector are really hard to get and should not be easy to get(mostly from scientist for huge pile of money)
1) There is a mod to deadly anomalies by someone else. I'm pretty sure it's working on CoM too.
2) I'm not a stalker modder and don't want to research how it's file system works.
3) Actually, detectors working based on artifacts, so it's not that high technological. It's more of a magic.
And overall, I don't wanted to change anything in Misery. I just wanted artifact hunting be more rewarding and feel like it's artifact, not junk.
I know that there are mods like that, but whole point of creating addon/mod is to make it better and better, merging them all together to work without a problem so people that dont have experience with merging files can have fun too.
Im just saying that if you post something, make it as best as possible. not just changing few lines in few files and call it a day.
That's all I wanted to change and that's what I did. I don't see any reason why I shouldn't. Even if I change 0 to 1 anywhere - it's still a mod. You can always ignor things you don't think they are mods.
I think, with "Smart Artefact Spawn"-addon this addon will be ideal.

One thing from the many causes I consider this immersion breaking:
- artifacts are still pretty common, zone is full of people looking for artifacts and you still manage to find tens of artifacts. Very realistic.

This addon actually makes CoM "stalkerish". The most distinct feature of all STALKER games is artefact hunting in anomaly fields with bolt and detector, but the original Misery just scrapped that idea by making anomaly fields deadly and artefacts worthless.
Now THIS was extremely necessary for Call of Misery, thank you! It may not be as needed in Call of Chernobyl, since most of anomalies are not going to one-shot you and artifacts are much more common. However, given the prices for equipment in CoM, heading out to find jellyfish worth 4000RU was really immersion breaking.
This is awesome and a great idea Favkis_Nexerade. Thank you for taking the time to share your mod with the community. I for one will be using it as I agree that it makes no sense for me to plunge into a dangerous anomaly and risk my life for something I can buy two loaves of bread with. Currently guns are worth more than most artifacts.
If people think this is an "unrealistic" or "game breaking" mod than the nice thing is they can choose to not download it.
