Adds a very basic disguise system to the game, npc will react to you according to the outfit you wear.

Makes all the faction versions of the various outfits useful rather than just for roleplaying, Sidorovich wants dead some stalker that never moves away from the Bandit base? Wear a bandit or freedom uniform to go in without raising hell and arrange an accident with mines. Skinflint has his delivery in that Army outpost at the cordon? Get an army or duty outfit and just pick it up. Picked a fight without noticing the numbers were against you? Hide somewhere to change clothes and pretend you're just somebody passing by. Monolith soldier away from Pripyat but really need some supplies? Dunk some unlucky stalker, take his suit and pay a visit to the Bar.
You need to be hidden for the disguise to have effect, if you are seen changing clothes everybody will remember your current identity.

Are "crimes" you commit while in disguise remembered by the factions when you change back to the disguise? or do different outfits make them think your a different person altogether?
yes, "crimes" like attacking a stalker are tracked "by person", so if you are in freedom base and change to duty outfit people will start hunting you but turn neutral when you change to a "frinedly" outfit, however if you are dressed as a stalker and shoot a freedom guy then change to freedom/bandit the guy you shot and whoever else got the aggro will still be hostile

It works with CoC too. Some outfit sections might be off, and that's all.
Could we get a version of this mod for 1.5R6? I think it would be enough to just clearly mark the code in the task-manager .ltxs so I can remove Dr.X Questlines code etc.
This is pretty broken in it's current form. I think you should tie it to NPC memory, you can simply take cover, change and walk away.
Edit: if not NPC memory, add some cooldown after you were last seen, and maybe make it not work if you are too close.
Edit2: To make it even harder, you could add some PDA requirements too. It might be different in Misery, but (as far as I know) PDAs still "see" each other.
BTRs and mounted PKMs will still attack you. Helicopters seem to work tho.
can you make an example where it happens? in last day the apc at agroprom and cordon never attack me even when i'm hostile to the army, and npc at mounted mahineguns just run away and start shooting me with their gun
CoC has two BTRs in the military base (agroprom), those shot me in army disguise.
A duty member behind the PKM in Rostok shot me in duty disguise.
this mod is for last day and not vanilla coc, it wont work perfectly

Ok, so maybe the conflict occure only under certain conditions, like "killing ennemy from faction X" quest while wearing a faction X outfit, I dunno.

I have a question: A lot of the time Sidorovich gives me missions to kill fellow free stalkers, which of course puts me in a tough spot because if I kill one of them, I can no longer access most areas near the crime scene without killing more of them. If I was to disguise as a bandit, kill off all of the attacking enemies then disguise as a free stalker again, will there be any repercussions?

if you attack stalkers when dressed as a hostile (eg as bandit vs stalkers), then hide and change to stalker/duty/etc then nobody will attack you
another method to kill neutrals is to use landmines, if someone dies by an "anonymous" mine (nobody saw you place them) then the kill wont be credited to you (the mission will still complete) but nobody will become hostile
one example, went to the bar with a freedom vest, killed the guards at the roadblock then changed to stalker (removed the vest) and nobody in the bar attacked me

What exactly am I supposed to do here? Line 2 also sets the time you need to be hidden.

hey buddy im having a bit of a problem with this I get about 30 seconds into the game and if im playing as a merc the other mercs see me as a stalker, although stood infront of them in thier uniform playing as thier faction from the start :/
you need to set the default faction in the script, read the description

Destroyed my military playthrough, set the default faction to army and everyone started shooting at me about 4 hours into my playthrough.
What about goodwill/faction reputation? I'm working towards becoming able to recruit mercs, but you need to complete quest for them for that to happen. I'm wondering if changing disguise is gonna reset that reputation value.

When i start the game as an army dude, if i stay close to the trader it says: YOU HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED!!! PEOPLE WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE A FREE STALKER!

Hey guys I have some problem with this mod.So I played as mersenery and what I do in just start new game and walk some time around Dead City and suddenly message pops out and its telling when I become a free stalker and they kill me. Way this is happening any solution.

Am I correct in saying that this mod is incompatible with Azazel mode? The nature of the "default faction recognized" seems to conflict with the entire idea of swapping bodies.
hmm I there is a bug, when your choose army dude factions, and then get some bandit clothes, and all of sudden, all main quest changed to bandit main quest. And the army main quest are failed.
And yeah btw, those army main quest still on-going, so let me finished all quest, and see what happen.
