Hello everyone!

It has not been terribly long since our last update in the middle of November, but we here at Starboard Games LLC have decided that one update a month is not nearly enough. Our fans, followers, and supporters deserve more quality updates than that. This is why we are rolling out a new feature which we will be publishing on the last day of every month from now on in addition to our usual project updates; Rogue Space.

What is Rogue Space?

Rogue Space is a monthly game development podcast that will feature a rotating suite of hosts from those teams who are hard at work bringing the INT universe to life. It is our hope that each episode will allow our followers a chance to listen in on the multitude of personalities, conversations, and revelations which go into the design and creation of a game like INT. While the first half of each hour-long episode focuses primarily upon amusing general banter between the hosts, the second half will focus far more specifically upon the developments and accomplishments of a single team member or aspect of the game. Also included alongside each episode is a written write-up of what was discussed so that fans can look even further into any aspect of an episode they found interesting.

Currently there are two episodes of Rogue Space available.

The first episode - which released back in October - can currently be found on our website. In this episode, Project Lead and CEO of Starboard Games LLC, Justin Bise, is our special guest as we discuss Halloween, horror, and go over the basics of INT’s gameplay and story. Please forgive us for the wonky audio during the first half, however, as this was our first ever recording session and many of the kinks have been worked out before the second half.

The second episode we are pleased to release here on IndieDB as well as on our website. On this, the second episode of the Rogue Space podcast, Starboard Games LLC’s Artistic Director, Matt Parkin, joins the crew as we discuss Thanksgiving, the newest INT teaser trailer, an upcoming mod for Command and Conquer 3, and what is quite possibly the biggest game release of the Autumn season. Enjoy!

Discussed in This Episode

Fallout 4: Everyone’s favorite Bethesda-Made, Post-Apocalyptic, FPS/RPG got a sequel this month and almost every single gamer is talking about it. We are no different. We talk about it quite a bit in this episode. It is a black hole of a topic that is nearly impossible to escape from.

Dragon Age: As much as we joke about this game, I actually really like the Dragon Age series and so too does Debbie apparently. She especially seems to like the character of Cullen since she has a shirt with him on it. It is a solid Fantasy RPG series made by the great game developer, BioWare.

Metal Gear Solid V: Hideo Kojima’s epic continuation to a series whose complex plot about nukes, robots, men code-named snake, and nano-machines continues to confuse me to this day. That being said, I still love playing the games in this series and V is an excellent addition.

Tiberium Secrets: An epic scale mod for the game Command and Conquer 3 that has been developed by the Secret Reality team for the past three years. It will add three entirely new factions to the game that will have their own unique models, lore, traits, and play-styles.

Thanksgiving: The holiday where families in North America gather around a table, eat a massive turkey feast, express how thankful they are, and then quickly hop in their cars at midnight so they can join in the adrenaline rush that is shopping for holiday deals on Black Friday.

INT Teaser #2: The epic new trailer for INT that shows off the UCE’s Scorpion fighter ship as well as the hangar level players will run across in the demo. Our November Update goes more in-depth into specific elements of the trailer.
