To tell the truth, I wasn't quite sure if it were a good idea to post anything at all at this period - I mean Summer, when people have so many things to do besides sitting in front of the monitors and browsing the Internet.
For us it's also a great time, when we enjoy all the benefits of warm weather and sunny days. But we DON'T forget about the project. In one way or another we continue our work. The latest being the Light revision again. So I would like to present several new screenshots of an Imperial world (the name would be revealed a bit later). It's the map made by my friend Wuhan, and edited by another friend of mine - Olgo. Both of them did a good job, i think. I'm amazed how their works combined produce such a result.
But screenshots sometimes speak more than thousand words.
Working on DP is in any case a good experience, challenging (as JA itself), but fascinating. It's a wonder, how some ideas come up out of sudden and are brought into modification in most peculiar ways. I'm speaking about the features like new weapons, effects, scripting - it's quite a space for imagination. Our fellow modders - all the people in MODDB actually - will understand what I mean. It's what shows the difference between the amateur and professional developers. I can be wrong of course.
I wish I could say smth else, but that's just what I feel about modding right now.
I'll reveal more in the News to come.
